SPORTS:

When it comes to our sports clients, we feel it's simply not enough to meet their expectations. Our goal is to raise them. We represent a few select individuals and provide them with premium service. We take the time to get to know the whole person: their wants, their needs, their ambitions. While some agents offer a management plan, we create a life plan.

Of course, we also spend our days handling your distractions, so you can focus on performance. Besides career and personal management, Legacy offers contract negotiation, marketing representation and public relations.

AUTHOR QUERY GUIDELINES:

Legacy, LLC is a full service boutique agency. We work primarily with authors who are established personalities and those with strong promotional platforms.

We specialize in nonfiction about sports and Christian topics. We consider nonfiction in other categories, as well as fiction. There are no reading fees.

Nonfiction queries should include proposals. Each proposal should include the following:

  • A one page synopsis of the work.
  • A chapter summary outline that includes a brief paragraph describing what each chapter will cover.
  • Two or three sample chapters.
  • A brief biography of the author(s).

· A market analysis that outlines the potential for the book in the marketplace. This analysis should identify the target audience for the book and explain why this book will be successful. You should include research on comparable books that have been published, an indication of their success or failure and how your book will be different and meet a need in the market.

· A discussion of your ability to help promote the book. This portion should outline all platforms you have that will help gain attention for the book. For example, this portion might include public speaking, interview opportunities, television and radio appearances, and potential endorsements for the book.

Fiction queries should include a complete manuscript, and a proposal including the elements outlined above for nonfiction queries.

We prefer email queries to info@legacy-management.com.

Traditional queries and hard copy materials should be addressed to:

Legacy LLC
365 Grouse Court
Winter Park, FL 32789

Materials will only be returned via SASE.
